Weighin Wednesday

I wish I could find the drive and determination I once had that put me in the mind set of not giving up until I reached a goal.  I need to figure out what works for me and do it.  Many times I have gotten down to 204 but can never push pass that number on the scale.  I was at 204 about three weeks ago but now I am back at 207.5 I have 3.5 lbs to get back to that weight and then leave it in the dust or just surpass it all together.

Sorry its upside down 207.5

I am tired of starting over so I am going to stop giving up.  This is my time to put up or shut up.  I have been saying I want to be at my first goal weight of 165 by my birthday of April 2nd that is a little over 42lbs and my main reason for doing this is to feel good about myself and to love my body again.  And my second reason is because we are moving back to the soon to be husbands home town and I don't want to show up being the fat girl.  I plan to workout at home and start running again and adding in Zumba once a week until we move (sometime in May) and then join a gym or cross fit once we get there.  I need to find a buddy to encourage me and help me meet my goals and love myself again.  So if you want to be my buddy let me know.

Weighin Wednesday

Its weigh in day for me and it SUCKED!!! I was doing so good and then I just threw it all away.  That is going to end right now how will I ever reach my goal and be happy with my body if I don't commit 100%.  So I stepped on the scale this morning and saw that I only lost .5 lbs the whole month of January when I weighted two weeks ago I was down 5.5 lbs.

so mad at myself!

Each month I make a work out calendra and use it to log my weigh in every Wednesday.  I need to make a few changes on my February calendar so be sure to check that out this weekend.

I have been working on my recipes and it is taking a little long than I excepted.  I hope to have that completed by this weekend and I will try and post it as soon as I have it completed.

Sunday I went and did a little shopping, I had just gotten a few new bras from Victoria's Secret for Christmas and needed something to wash them in.  I had been looking for a delicate bag (I don't wash anything by hand) so I found a bra bag at Target and I love it!! Its made by Tide and I can fit two bras at a time in there so it works great and saves me lots of time.

On Monday I decided I would start getting rid of stuff we haven't used in years and I cleaned out three trash bags full of crap, tons of bath and body works lotion and body spray along with lots of other stuff.  While I was cleaning RO was running around acting his crazy little self.  He was watch movies changing them everything few minutes and he put in a SuperCross DVD and ending up look like this.

I blew it!!

I had hoped to share some excited news with you all but I don't really have any!! Sorry.  Chad came home last Saturday and as excited and happy as I was to have him home I knew what was coming.  Eating out all the time.  Sunday is my grocery shopping day and that didn't happen so we ate out all week because every time I said I was going to the store he would come up with something else for us to do.

I am not sure if I had shared with you how much I weigh but I am going to do so now as of a week ago last Wednesday I weighed 204.4 and I am pretty sure I gained all 6 lbs back that I had lost since the 1st of the year.  I had worked out for 20 days straight and then took a rest day cause my body was just tired.  I doubled out on the 22nd and haven't worked out since but tomorrow is a new day.  I will do what I was supposed to do last week this week and try to double up a few days to get back on track.  If I am going to reach my goal weight by 4/2/13 I better get back on track.

So other things that took place this week while Chad was home, we took RO to swim lessons, he is an Advance Level 1 and only needs one more ribbon before he moves up to Level 2.  Nothing gives me more joy then seeing him achieve new things, this week at swimming he was learning to come up for air while swimming and to keep going.  This kid loves to swim and since both grandma's have swimming pools and we have a boat this is money I wouldn't spend else where.  I believe that making sure your child can swim is important and it is good for them as well.  On Saturday RO and I went to a birthday party of one of my BFF's little girl who is turning 2 this week.  And then later that night we went to Arena Cross and he loved it, They had mini bikes (little 50's) ages 4-8 racing and he was so excited he said mom I am going to do this we need to go buy me a mini bike tomorrow.  Chad rides a dirt bike for fun at a local track and RO can't wait until he can go with dad and get to wear the gear and ride with the big boys. Slow down my child is all I can think.

Once I figure out how to use the Cloud on my phone will be able to post pics of our not so exciting life!!

Coming this week...how my getting back on track is going and I plan to print out all my favorite recipes and make a recipe book I think I got the idea from another blogger or pinterest and I hope to have figured out Cloud by then as well.

Finding Kayla

Hello all, I have spent the last hour trying to set up this blog!!! I was about to just give up.  Let me fill you in about me in case you don't know me.  I am a 30 year old SAHM, with a 3 year old son who we will just call RO, and his amazing father would be my DILF (I mean BF).  Almost 6 years ago I was single partying it up, not looking for Mr Right but instead Mr Right NOW, well me and Mr Right have been together for 6 years this March and the rest is history.  Except for the fact that before I met him I was in the process of finding myself.  I had lost I would say about 30lbs and lots of inches in about 3 months fast forward 6 years and well I am trying to do it again only this time I need to shed 60lbs all while trying to find me. I know who I am as a person and a mom but I want to become the me I loved.  Not the me who hates clothes and only wants to buy shoes.

Ok so fast forward to now...I am on my weight loss journey while staying home, in the last year I have lost 20 lbs would be more if I wouldn't have given up a million and one times.  I have made a list of goals for 2013 and I plan to see them through, I want to be at my 1st goal weight of 165 by my 31st birthday April 2nd and my ultimate goal of 155 by RO's 4th birthday August 21st.  I have been working out and counting calories since the 1st of January and haven't missed a day yet.  I have been doing the couch 2 5k program in hopes of running a complete 5k at the end of the program and I have also been doing Ripped in 30 which is a Julian Michaels DVD on my non running days.  I use my Polar FT4 Heart Rate Monitor Watch to track my calories burnt and then I added them in My Fitness Pal which I also use to track my daily food calories.

I hope you will stayed tuned and help encourage me on my journey of Finding Kayla!!!!
